The Role
The Workplace Collaboration Administrator has moderate to advanced level skills in one or more collaboration technologies, both on-premises or on cloud. This includes common collaboration tools from Microsoft (Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams, Enterprise Voice, Yammer, AD/AAD, etc.), Cisco (Web Ex, Jabber, etc.), HCL (Domino) and many others.

Individuals in this job role possess the technical background and required experience to work on moderately complex collaboration technology project activities, provide technical recommendations and implement technical solutions approved by the customer. They also participate in helping to remediate issues and can provide level 2 / level 3 managed services support to customers.

The Workplace Collaboration Administrator is responsible for providing timely resolution to level 2 / level 3 incidents, service requests, change order, or problem tickets. They participate in security health check and patching related activities to secure the customer IT environment and review the daily health check reports and system logs for the environment stability, taking corrective action as required. They participate in change review process and collaborate with customers and other key stakeholders (internal & external) on infrastructure change activities, implementing them in a timely fashion.

Individuals in this job role are also responsible to work with the vendor on any open issues that are escalated for advanced support, driving those issues to closure.

Responsibilities
Provide timely resolution for L2/L3 tickets reported at the desk and keep customer posted on the progress on a regular basis.

Keep tickets updated at all times for better clarity regarding progress.

Raise change tickets and represent them in CAB review board, implementing them in the customer environment as required.

Maintain the customer's collaboration environment in a healthy state and take proactive measures to prevent incidents.

Maintain a positive compliance posture of the customer's collaboration environment at all times.

Participate in customer, account and internal delivery interlocks for better governance and controls.

Work with the vendors on escalations and seek closure on issues

Participate in the timely resolution of major incidents in the customer's collaboration environment

Work on RFS requirements and implement technical solutions as agreed upon. This includes both the setup and configuration of a new collaboration environment, and/or the remediation (prior to migration) and migration to the collaboration toolset.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
Enterprise IT application experience

5+years of hands-on experience in  Microsoft Server, Cloud, Active Directory, Entra

ID, Microsoft 365 includes Hybrid Environments administration of Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams with Enterprise Voice Skills

Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams

Moderate to advance level Knowledge of collaboration technologies. This includes major workloads within the Microsoft 365 Suite across various licenses and its on-premises components, including SharePoint, One Drive, MS Teams with Enterprise Voice and similar Collaboration products such as Yammer, Cisco Webex and Jabber

Knowledge of On-Premises Active Directory or Azure Active Directory (AAD)

Knowledge of Microsoft Security Products (i.e., Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS)), EOP

Knowledge of Scripting (i.e., Power Shell)

Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce conclusions and responses.
