Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design, and creating long term value to our customers.

Act as Servant leader to an Agile team.
Oversee project timelines, dependencies, and milestones, ensuring comprehensive project plans are developed and maintained.
Facilitate clear communication among all stakeholders, aligning parties throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate and optimize existing SQL queries for performance improvement, leveraging understanding of database structure and data analysis skills.
Conduct business analysis and requirement gathering sessions to align database solutions with stakeholder needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring effective database functionality.
Manage scope changes, risks, and escalate issues as needed, coordinating testing efforts and assisting with technical requirement translation for scrum teams.
Educate Agile teams to maximize efficiency and performance from agile best practices and values.
Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement.
Guide the Agile team to consistently deliver customer value.
Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across Scrum teams.
Facilitate Scrum events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Refinement sessions, Iteration Reviews, Retrospectives and Quarterly planning.
Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.
Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency.
Work with peers, managers, and communities of practice to increase the effectiveness of Agile delivery.

What We're Looking For:

6-9 years of experience in the role of Scrum master.
Experience leading teams in delivery using Agile practices.
Team-first, empathetic, servant leader with a growth mindset.
Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners, to address and resolve bugs efficiently.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN to manage code changes related to bug fixes.
Business analysis proficiency:
Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and database solutions.
Requirement gathering expertise:
Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions to elicit, prioritize, and document business requirements related to database functionality and performance.
