About the Role:

Join a dynamic team working on a strategic initiative for a leading healthcare organization in Canada. We are seeking a skilled Tableau Consultant who is passionate about transforming complex data into clear, impactful, and user-friendly business intelligence solutions. You will be the key link between business stakeholders and technical data architects, designing dashboards that drive critical decision-making across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze, understand, and translate complex requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain advanced, intuitive Tableau dashboards and reports with a strong emphasis on data storytelling and user experience.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries within Amazon Aurora

DB to power dashboards and reports.
Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on data models, architecture, and business goals.
Perform in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Optimize the performance of Tableau workbooks and underlying SQL queries for handling large-scale healthcare datasets.
Support healthcare-specific reporting needs, ensuring compliance and tracking of relevant KPIs.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing advanced Tableau dashboards.
Proven, hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora

DB (or AWS RDS), including complex query development and performance tuning.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of relational database design.
Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
Experience working with large datasets in a cloud-based enterprise environment.
Previous experience in the healthcare industry or another highly regulated large enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Haves):
Familiarity with modern data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
Tableau Administrator experience.
