Role Overview  We are looking for a  Network and Security Engineer  to manage, secure, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in  firewalls, routing, switching, and network security , and will play a key role in ensuring network availability, performance, and security across WAN and LAN environments.

Key Responsibilities   Configure, manage, and troubleshoot next-generation firewalls ( Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point )
Implement and maintain security policies including  NAT, IPSec/SSL VPN, URL filtering, and threat prevention
Monitor logs, alerts, and events to identify and mitigate security incidents
Perform firewall audits, rule reviews, and policy optimization
Configure and troubleshoot  Layer 2 and Layer 3  network devices
Manage  VLANs, trunking, STP, Ether Channel, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, BGP, and static routing
Ensure high availability, performance, and uptime across  WAN/LAN  environments
Handle network outages, link issues, performance degradation, and provide  root cause analysis (RCA)
Manage  MPLS, SD-WAN, leased lines , and coordinate with ISPs
Support network upgrades, migrations, and new infrastructure deployments
Review, remediate, and close  VAPT findings  to enhance security posture
Adhere to  ITSM processes  (Incident, Problem, and Change Management)
Maintain accurate documentation for network diagrams, configurations, and changes
Collaborate with internal IT teams, SOC, and external vendors
Provide on-call support for critical and high-priority incidents
Troubleshoot complex network and security issues independently

Qualifications & Skills   3–4 years of experience in  Network & Security Engineering
Strong hands-on expertise with at least  one or two major firewalls :
Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Check Point
Solid understanding of  L2/L3 networking concepts  (VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, etc.)

Experience with  VPN technologies  (Site-to-Site and Remote Access)
Good understanding of  network security principles and best practices
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
Experience working in  enterprise or multi-branch environments
Basic knowledge of  cloud networking (AWS/Azure)
Basic scripting knowledge is an added advantage
