About The Position

We are looking for a creative UI Architect to structure and improve website usability. Your duties will include coding websites, maintaining the aesthetics of websites, and ensuring that the websites are user-friendly. You should also analyze the behaviors and patterns of users to improve overall functionality. To be successful as a UI architect, you should be passionate about user satisfaction and be competent in every aspect of building a website.

Ultimately, as a high-quality UI architect, you should be an expert in problem-solving and an innovative thinker.

What Youll Do

Lead and mentor the team within and across projects
Architect front-end applications as well as provide guidance on object-oriented JavaScript, AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Node.

JS and other front-end UI technologies such as Angular.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, Sass, D3.js and delivery best practices
Manage clients and represent Persistent UI expertise and thought leadership in interactive UI technologies and applications

Expertise Youll Bring

Hands-on-experience with object-oriented JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Good working experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST API etc.)
Experience on website performance testing and monitoring
Experience in TDD (Test-Driven Development), writing unit test / integration test for UI components using JavaScript framework such Selenium, Jasmine etc

Experience with Single Page Application development
Technical expertise for RFP responses and client workshops
Context and guidance for implementation of front-end interfaces
The ability to define and parse valid data interchange structures with back-end services (JSON, XML)
The skills to maintain delivery quality across projects (code, plan, and estimates)
The skills to develop standards compliant code according to industry best practices (SEO, Cross Browser, Accessibility (Section 508))
Excellent knowledge of component design patterns
Knowledge of responsive web design, content management and content delivery networks such as Akamai
