Job Summary :
We are looking for a Scrum Master with a strong hands-on background in software development and/or QA to lead and coach our agile teams. The ideal candidate will bring both practical engineering experience and solid Scrum expertise , ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional development teams.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement .
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a clear and well-prioritized product backlog.
Remove impediments and coordinate with other teams/functions to ensure smooth delivery.
Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum values, principles, and practices .
Track and report on key delivery metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, defects, etc.).
Foster a culture of continuous improvement , learning, and collaboration.
Support the team in engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, code quality) leveraging your prior development/QA experience.
Ensure transparency and alignment through effective communication with stakeholders, management, and cross-functional teams .
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Total
Experience:
5–8 years in IT/software industry.
o Minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master .
o Remaining experience as a Software Developer and/or QA Engineer .
•
Education:
o
B.Tech / B.E. or M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or equivalent discipline.
• Certification:
Mandatory Scrum certification (e.g. CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum Master certification).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks , roles, artifacts, and events.
Hands-on experience working in Agile software development teams .
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively with distributed or cross-functional teams . Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience in Power, Utilities, or Energy domain (energy monitoring, grid, transmission, generation, renewables, asset management, etc.).
Exposure to Dev Ops practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing).
Experience working in product-based or platform environments.
