SOC T1 Analyst

Location: Prakāshamnagar

We are seeking a  SOC T1 Analyst  to join our 24/7 Cybersecurity Operations Center ( CSOC ). In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense, responsible for the initial response to security events and incidents. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of security technologies, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in triaging alerts, assisting in the incident response lifecycle, and helping to improve our security procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities     Incident Response:  Follow established procedures to triage, investigate, and respond to security events and incidents.
Alert Correlation:  Correlate security alerts from various platforms based on common elements to identify broader threats.
Process Improvement:  Provide feedback to senior analysts to improve and optimize existing procedures and documentation.
Team

Collaboration:

Participate in and lead CSOC Tier 1 knowledge-sharing sessions. Assist incident responders in coordinating the response, containment, eradication, and recovery phases of the incident response lifecycle.
Continuous Learning:  Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and the cyber threat landscape.
Qualifications    A Bachelor's degree with experience or a Diploma with extensive experience in Security Operations or a related field.
Solid understanding of security technologies and their core functionality.
Good knowledge of  Windows  and/or  Linux  systems.
Familiarity with  CSOC operations  and  incident response procedures .

Experience with security alert correlation across different platforms.
CompTIA Security+ ,  CEH , or  GSEC  certifications are preferred.
Work Hours   This position requires you to work a  later shift , and you may be assigned a second or third shift schedule, including evenings or nights. Potential shifts are  2:00 pm - 10:00 pm IST  or  10:00 pm - 7:00 am IST , subject to change based on business needs.
