Scrum Master - Technology

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to lead our technology teams, fostering a culture of agile development, continuous improvement, and timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Facilitate and coach multiple scrum teams in the effective use of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
Remove impediments and roadblocks for the scrum teams, escalating issues when necessary to ensure team progress and productivity.
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog, clear user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Act as a servant leader, guiding the team towards self-organization and cross-functionality.
Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the teams and across the organization.
Track and report on team metrics and progress, providing insights to stakeholders on team performance and potential areas for improvement.
Identify and implement strategies to improve team velocity, quality, and predictability.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders.
Champion Agile adoption and maturity within the organization, mentoring other Scrum Masters and team members.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification (e.g., SAFe Scrum Master, PSM I).
Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
Proven ability to lead and coach teams in an Agile environment, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to resolve conflicts and foster a positive team environment.

Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Dev Ops).
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing impediments.
