Job Description & How to Apply Below
Some homes are built to escape the city.
These homes are built to slow down.
Sliceinn operates a collection of boutique villas in Coorg, surrounded by coffee estates, misty mornings, and quiet forest roads. Guests come here to disconnect long breakfasts on verandas, walks through plantations, evenings around good food and conversations.
We are looking for someone who naturally enjoys creating that kind of stay for people.
This role is not a typical hotel job. It sits somewhere between a host, a coordinator, and the steady centre of the property.
What the role feels like
You’ll be the first person guests connect with when they arrive and the one who makes sure their stay feels effortless.
You’ll notice when guests might enjoy a plantation walk.
You’ll suggest dinner timing when the weather turns misty and cold.
You’ll ensure the team runs smoothly and the villas always feel welcoming.
You won’t just be “managing rooms.”
You’ll be running a small hospitality ecosystem in the middle of nature.
If the idea of running a beautiful hillside property rather than sitting behind a front desk excites you, you’ll likely enjoy this role.
What you’ll take care of
• Welcoming guests and helping them settle into the villa comfortably
• Overseeing the day-to-day rhythm of the property and guiding the on-ground team
• Ensuring rooms, common areas, gardens and outdoor spaces always feel guest-ready
• Helping guests plan meals, local activities and experiences around Coorg
• Coordinating with housekeeping, kitchen and maintenance when needed
• Managing small purchases, supplies and local vendor coordination
• Making sure the guest experience always feels warm, relaxed and personal
The day won’t feel like rigid hotel shifts.
It will move with the flow of guests and the property.
Who we think will enjoy this role
Someone who:
• Has worked in hospitality, resorts, homestays or villas for 2–4 years
• Speaks comfortably in English and Hindi (Kannada or local languages are a plus)
• Enjoys interacting with guests and making people feel comfortable
• Is organised and calm when things get busy
• Likes working in nature and quieter environments
• Would prefer a stable long-term role instead of frequently changing jobs
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to genuinely care about guests and the property.
What you’ll get
• Performance incentives and guest tips
• Live-in accommodation and meals
• A small, friendly team and peaceful work environment
• The chance to grow with Sliceinn as we expand our villa portfolio
If this sounds like the kind of place you’d enjoy running, we’d love to hear from yo
