Job Summary
The Commis Chef supports the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining hygiene, safety, and brand standards. This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional eager to grow in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items as directed by senior chefs.
Ensure mise en place is prepared and organized before service.
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Follow recipes and portion controls accurately.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per HACCP standards.
Support inventory control and minimize food wastage.
Comply with hotel health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in receiving and inspecting kitchen supplies.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (luxury hotel experience preferred).
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
