Position
Pediatric Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | OPT & Feeding
Kindle Hopes Pediatric Rehabilitation Centre is building its foundation team and invites applications from passionate Pediatric Speech Therapists . Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
(Master’s degree preferred)
Registration with relevant professional council
Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech and language therapy
Key Skills & Clinical Exposure
(Not all mandatory – proficiency in some is sufficient)
AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) – low-tech & high-tech
Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) and oral-motor approaches
Exposure to or training in Talk Tools® therapy (added advantage)
Pediatric Speech & Language Pathology
Play-based and child-led therapy approaches
Early Intervention (infants & toddlers)
Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, developmental delays
Receptive & expressive language disorders
Articulation, phonological & motor speech disorders
Feeding and swallowing basics (if trained – added advantage)
Parent counselling and home program planning
Additional exposure to PROMPT , Hanen Programs , DIR/Floortime , or evidence-based AAC frameworks will be an added advantage.
Role & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
Design and implement individualized therapy plans
Deliver 1:1 therapy sessions in a calm, distraction-free environment
Implement and support AAC systems for children and families
Collaborate closely with OTs, Physiotherapists, and caregivers
Maintain clear documentation and progress reports
Coach parents for effective carry-over at home
Compensation
₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month
(Negotiable in cases of strong experience, advanced training, or specialized certifications)
Commitment We are looking for therapists interested in a long-term association (minimum 2–3 years preferred ) and who wish to grow with the Centre as services expand.
