We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to lead our Physician Billing Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. The Associate Director will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing large teams, ensuring process excellence, and delivering outstanding client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction for Physician Billing AR operations, ensuring timely resolution of claims and account receivables.
Oversee end-to-end AR processes, including denials management, payment posting, follow-ups, and appeals.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, including managers and senior managers.
Develop and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with payer regulations.
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver superior client satisfaction and performance outcomes.
Monitor KPIs and operational dashboards to ensure achievement of collection targets, DSO, and quality benchmarks.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on RCM and Physician Billing AR practices.
Drive automation, technology adoption, and best practices to strengthen AR operations.
Collaborate with leadership on strategy, client engagement, and business growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) industry.
At least 2+ years of proven leadership as a Senior Manager (or equivalent) in Physician Billing AR.
Strong understanding of US healthcare billing, payer guidelines, and AR processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable results.
Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in RCM tools, AR management platforms, and reporting systems.
Preferred
Skills:
Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications.
Experience in client-facing roles with US-based healthcare providers.
Proven record of driving team engagement, training, and leadership development.
