Job Summary:

Vidyashilp University is seeking enthusiastic and student-focused  Admission Counsellors  to join our Admissions & Outreach team. The role involves guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing information about university programs, and supporting enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel prospective students and parents through phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
Explain program offerings, eligibility, and admission processes clearly and effectively.
Maintain follow-ups with leads and inquiries generated through various sources.
Coordinate and participate in university open houses, school visits, education fairs, and webinars.
Maintain accurate records of communication and progress in the CRM system.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support admission campaigns and lead generation.
Support walk-in queries and campus visits by providing a positive applicant experience.
Assist in documentation, interview coordination, and admission formalities as required.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
1 to 3 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or a similar customer-facing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of Kannada/Hindi is a plus).
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and guide students effectively.
Basic knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work in a team and handle targets and timelines.
