Content Development & Review:
Design and Develop Curriculum: Create and refine English language curricula and learning materials for school-level and test-prep learners, ensuring they meet the standards of CEFR and global test frameworks.
Lesson Planning & Assessments: Develop engaging lesson plans, sample questions, assessments, and multimedia resources that are aligned with international testing standards like IELTS, TOEFL, OET, and PET.
Content Quality & Accuracy: Ensure that all content produced is linguistically accurate, pedagogically sound, and aligned with academic guidelines.
Academic Research & Benchmarking:
Research Best Practices: Conduct research on current trends and best practices in English language teaching, assessment methods, and frameworks to continually enhance content quality.
Benchmarking Content: Evaluate existing content against international standards and implement improvements to meet or exceed those benchmarks.
Quality Assurance:
Review & Edit Content: Review, edit, and proofread content produced by junior SMEs or freelance writers, ensuring it adheres to academic guidelines and brand tone.
Ensure Adherence to Standards: Ensure content aligns with curriculum frameworks, international exam requirements, and educational best practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with instructional designers, graphic teams, animators, and project managers to ensure timely and effective content delivery.
Provide Academic Feedback: Offer academic guidance and feedback during product development cycles to ensure the final product meets high-quality educational standards.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in English language content development, particularly for competitive or international English proficiency exams (IELTS, TOEFL, OET, PET).
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in English , Education , Linguistics , or Applied Linguistics .
Knowledge of Frameworks: Deep familiarity with CEFR levels and testing frameworks (IELTS, TOEFL, OET, PET).
Writing
Skills:
Strong command over academic and instructional writing styles, with an ability to engage learners and convey complex language concepts clearly.
Editorial
Skills:
Excellent editorial skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in content.
Preferred
Skills:
EdTech
Experience:
Prior experience in digital education or EdTech content creation .
Instructional Design: Familiarity with instructional design principles and learning management systems (LMS).
Google Workspace Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and experience with authoring tools is a plus.
