Position: Faculty Position in Sports Science (Tenure-Track / Tenured)
Location: Prakāshamnagar

Position Overview
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and external engagement in one or more of the following domains:
Exercise Physiology
Biomechanics & Performance Analytics
Sports Psychology & Cognitive Performance
Data Science in Sports
Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation Science
Human Performance Optimization
AI and Wearable Technologies in Sport
The appointment is expected to contribute to the development of a globally benchmarked undergraduate and graduate Sports Science curriculum and establish a high-impact research program.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Sports Science, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Sports Psychology, or related field from a globally recognized institution
Strong publication record in top-tier peer-reviewed journals
Evidence of competitive grant funding (or high potential for securing funding)
Demonstrated excellence in teaching and mentoring
Experience working with elite athletes, professional teams, or high-performance systems (desirable)
Interdisciplinary research orientation preferred
Responsibilities
Develop and sustain a high-impact research program
Publish in leading journals and pursue competitive research funding
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Sports Science
Mentor student research and doctoral candidates (if applicable)
Contribute to curriculum innovation and lab development
Engage in industry and professional sports partnerships
