Role Description
The Assistant Professor of Data Science will contribute to teaching core and elective courses in data science, conducting research, and mentoring students. Responsibilities include curriculum development, delivering lectures, organising lab sessions, and guiding projects. The role also involves participating in research initiatives, publishing in high-quality journals, and contributing to departmental growth. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Mohali district.

Qualifications
Strong foundations in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Statistical Methods.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Power BI, or SQL, along with Data Analysis tools.
Experience in conducting academic research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
Effective teaching, communication, and presentation skills with a commitment to student development.
Doctoral degree (PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues while delivering on institutional goals.
Experience in interdisciplinary research or practical industry expertise is an asset.
