This is a  research-intensive faculty appointment  designed for scholars with a strong publication trajectory and a clear, independent research agenda. The role prioritizes  knowledge production, high-impact publication, and intellectual leadership , with limited teaching responsibilities aligned to research expertise.

Responsibilities
Research & Scholarship (Primary)
Develop and sustain an  independent, internationally visible research program
Publish consistently in  top-tier peer-reviewed journals and/or elite conferences  relevant to the field
Lead or co-lead  externally funded research projects  (national and international)
Collaborate across disciplines and research centers within the University
Contribute to the development of  research labs, clusters, or thematic centers
Graduate Mentorship
Supervise Master's and Doctoral students engaged in research
Mentor early-career researchers, fellows, and research assistants
Contribute to a high-performance research culture emphasizing rigor and originality
Teaching (Secondary, Research-Aligned)
Teach a limited number of  advanced or research-led courses
Integrate current research into curriculum design
Participate selectively in doctoral seminars and methods workshops
Academic Service
Participate in research committees, peer review, and academic governance
Represent the University in scholarly networks, conferences, and consortia

Required Qualifications
PhD (or near completion) from a  reputable, research-intensive university
Demonstrated ability to publish in  high-quality journals or conferences
Evidence of a  coherent and ambitious research agenda
Strong methodological competence (quantitative, qualitative, experimental, or computational, as appropriate)
Ability to work effectively in an  interdisciplinary research environment
Excellent academic writing and communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications
Postdoctoral experience at a recognized research institution
Publications in  Q1 / ABS / ABDC / CORE-ranked venues  or field-equivalent top outlets

Experience with  grant writing or funded research
International research exposure or collaboration
Research aligned with real-world impact, policy relevance, or advanced technology applications
