Secondary Marathi Teacher

Location: Bhayandar

Job Purpose

To deliver effective Marathi language instruction at the secondary level, enabling students to develop strong linguistic skills, literary appreciation, and cultural understanding in alignment with CBSE curriculum and assessment standards.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Marathi lessons for Grades VI–X as per CBSE syllabus.
Teach grammar, prose, poetry, and literature with focus on comprehension and expression.
Prepare structured lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching resources.
Conduct formative and summative assessments and evaluate student performance.
Support students in exam preparation and writing skills as per CBSE pattern.
Maintain accurate academic records, lesson plans, and student progress reports.
Use interactive and learner-centric teaching methodologies.
Encourage appreciation of Marathi language, literature, and culture.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and concerns.
Participate in school events, trainings, examinations, and staff meetings.
Adhere to school policies, academic standards, and CBSE guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in Marathi.
B.Ed mandatory.
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at secondary level preferred.

Experience with CBSE board examination patterns will be an advantage.
