Primary English Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the ICSE curriculum
Develop students' reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and speaking skills
Use age-appropriate teaching strategies, storytelling, phonics, and creative activities
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
Design worksheets, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student progress
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance
Identify individual learning needs and provide additional academic support when required
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive behavior
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development
Participate actively in school events, meetings, workshops, and training programs
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes

Qualifications & Skills

Graduate/Postgraduate in English with

B.Ed./D.Ed. (mandatory)
Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching Primary classes (ICSE experience preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
Passion for teaching young learners and fostering a love for language
Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods
