Job Summary
Shoolini University invites applications for the position of  Assistant Professor  at the Shoolini Centre for Distance and Online Education. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, developing academic content for online and distance learning programs, and contributing to academic excellence through innovative teaching methodologies. This is a full-time position based at the main campus in Solan.

Educational Qualifications
Bachelor's and Master's degree in  

B.Tech / M.Tech (Computer Science / IT or related discipline)
OR
PhD in Computer Science / IT (PhD pursuing candidates may also be considered)

Experience Requirements
Minimum  1 to 3 years of teaching experience  in higher education (preferred)
Fresh PhD or PhD pursuing candidates with strong academic background may also apply

Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and conduct classes for online and distance education programs
Develop and update digital academic content, including video lectures, study material, and assessments
Participate in curriculum design and academic planning for online programs
Engage in student mentoring, academic support, and evaluation processes
Ensure quality delivery of online education as per university standards
Contribute to departmental academic and administrative activities as required

Skills & Competencies
Strong  professional English communication skills  (verbal and written)
Sound knowledge of  online teaching tools and content creation platforms
Ability to create engaging digital learning content (presentations, recorded lectures, modules, etc.)
Proficiency in computer applications and learning management systems (LMS)
Good interpersonal and organisational skills
Passion for teaching and academic innovation
