Role Overview

The Dean will provide academic, strategic, and administrative leadership for the assigned undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs. The role requires a senior academic leader with strong domain expertise, experience in curriculum design, accreditation, faculty leadership, and stakeholder engagement to drive academic excellence and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead academic planning, curriculum design, and outcome-based education initiatives
- Drive innovation in teaching, learning, and research
- Lead, mentor, and develop faculty teams; promote interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (NAAC / NBA / AACSB)
- Build strong linkages with industry, government bodies, policymakers, and academia
- Conceptualize and launch new programs, specializations, and academic initiatives
- Represent the school in academic, industry, and policy forums

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong academic leadership and strategic vision
- Deep understanding of curriculum frameworks, accreditation, and quality assurance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven decision-making, problem-solving, and change management capabilities

Eligibility & Experience

- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration
- Prior leadership experience (Dean / Director / HoD / Senior Faculty) preferred

- Experience with NAAC, NBA, and/or AACSB accreditation is highly desirable
