Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counsellor (Study Abroad) at our office in Kochi. The Academic Counsellor will assist students in identifying suitable courses and universities, provide guidance through application and admissions processes, and offer support for visa processing and financial planning. Additional responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, resolving student queries, and maintaining client relationships to ensure optimal support throughout the study abroad journey.
Qualifications
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to connect effectively with students and parents
Knowledge of international universities, courses, and admission processes, including visa and scholarship application procedures
Experience in data management, accurate record-keeping, and using CRM or similar systems
Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to provide effective and practical guidance
Professionalism with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
Prior experience in education consultancy or a similar role is advantageous
