Position Overview

Kanakia International School, Mira Road, is seeking an experienced and passionate  Physics Teacher  for the  Senior Secondary Section (Grades 11 and 12 – ISC) . The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, a clear understanding of the ISC curriculum, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations and competitive entrance exams.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Physics to Grades 11 and 12 students as per ISC curriculum
Plan and deliver concept-based, exam-oriented lessons
Conduct theory classes and supervise laboratory practicals
Prepare students for ISC board examinations and internal assessments
Design question papers, worksheets, assignments, and revision modules
Evaluate answer sheets and maintain accurate academic records
Provide doubt-clearing sessions and academic mentoring
Integrate experiments, demonstrations, and digital tools into teaching
Maintain classroom discipline and a focused learning environment
Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress
Participate in academic planning, meetings, and school activities

Eligibility & Qualifications

Master's degree in Physics (M.Sc. Physics mandatory)
B.Ed mandatory
Minimum 4–6 years of teaching experience (ISC experience preferred)
Thorough knowledge of ISC syllabus, exam pattern, and practicals
Strong communication skills in English
