Job Description :

The Admission Counsellor plays a critical role in guiding prospective students through the application process. They provide detailed information about programs, assist with admissions applications, and offer advice on career paths and academic requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

· Provide expert guidance to prospective students on available programs and admission procedures.

· Assist students in completing admission applications and gathering necessary documentation.

· Conduct one-on-one or group counseling sessions to help students make informed decisions.

· Promote the institution's programs through presentations, seminars, and events.

· Stay up-to-date with program offerings, admission requirements, and deadlines.

· Evaluate student profiles and recommend suitable programs based on academic interests and qualifications.

· Follow up with students to ensure timely submission of applications and documents.

· Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, applications, and student interactions.

· Assist with the preparation and organization of admission-related events (e.g., open houses, webinars).

· Build relationships with high schools, universities, and other educational institutions for referral opportunities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field.

· Strong knowledge of admission procedures and educational programs.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Empathy and understanding to guide students effectively.

· Ability to handle a high volume of inquiries and maintain a professional demeanor.

· Prior experience in admissions counseling or related fields is preferred.

· Familiarity with admission software and databases.
