Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Law, based in Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, designing course content, developing engaging teaching methodologies, and mentoring students. Responsibilities also include conducting high-quality research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to academic activities within the university. Participation in curriculum development and collaborating with colleagues in interdisciplinary research is also expected.
Qualifications
Subject matter expertise in Law, including Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.
Strong commitment to teaching, with experience in developing materials and engaging students through innovative teaching methods.
Proven ability to conduct academic and applied research with strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and guiding students.
Doctoral degree (PhD) in Law or a related field is highly desirable.
Experience in academic research, publications, and knowledge sharing will be an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and interdisciplinary academic environment.
