Role Description
The Head of Academics (K-10) will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational content and curricula for grades Nursery to 10. Key responsibilities include overseeing curriculum planning, ensuring alignment with NEP and NCF standards, mentoring a team of curriculum writers and editors, and collaborating with designers to create engaging content. The role also involves conducting training sessions, staying updated on educational trends, and tailoring content for different regions.
This is a full-time on-site role based out of Hyderabad.
Qualifications
Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design
Strong background in pedagogy, educational standards (NEP and NCF), and age-appropriate content creation for K-10 grades
Leadership abilities, including managing academic teams, mentoring, and guiding the development of high-quality academic resources
Proficiency in proofreading, editing, and maintaining accuracy in academic materials
Strong communication and presentation skills for conducting training and liaising with diverse stakeholders
Familiarity with regional education systems and the ability to tailor content to meet diverse cultural and linguistic needs
Prior experience in academic publishing or educational institutions is a plus
Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field is preferred; a Bachelor's degree is required
