Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Educator, based in Pulwama. The Special Educator will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, providing tailored instruction, and promoting an inclusive learning environment. Key tasks include assessing students' abilities, collaborating with teachers and families, developing lesson plans, studying individual learning styles, and helping students achieve their academic, social, and emotional goals.
The role will also involve creating a supportive environment that fosters confidence and adaptability for all students.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, or a related field
Deep understanding of Special Education frameworks and experience teaching students with disabilities
Proficiency in teaching at the Middle School level, with strong pedagogical skills and the ability to tailor curricula to diverse learning needs
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and teaching staff
Empathy, patience, and the ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Relevant certifications or qualifications in Special Education or related fields
Experience in art-based or alternative teaching approaches is a plus
