The Operations Trainee will be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of training programs delivered at the University under a vendor engagement. This role involves close collaboration with trainers, university departments, and internal teams to ensure smooth planning, execution, and communication throughout the training lifecycle. He will be the single point of contact for all operational aspects of the training delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule training sessions in alignment with university academic calendars and vendor commitments.
Coordinate with trainers regarding session schedules, logistics, and resource availability.
Discussion and coordination with university departments (administration, IT, Training and placement cell, etc.) to ensure seamless program execution.
Manage communications, both written and verbal, with university stakeholders, trainers, and internal delivery teams.
Oversee venue readiness, technical setup, and other on-ground arrangements for each training session.
Track attendance, feedback, and session reports for all training batches.
Assist in resolving operational issues related to training delivery, trainer travel, or schedule changes.
Maintain detailed documentation and communication logs for program transparency and reporting.
Support post-training activities such as feedback analysis, coordination, and report submission.
Required
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT/Management or any relevant field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Strong organisational and time-management capabilities with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace and email correspondence.
Ability to work independently and take proactive initiatives in dynamic environments.
Understanding of academic or professional training delivery workflows.
Professional, reliable, and people-oriented approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability under deadline pressure.
Collaborative mindset with a focus on high-quality service delivery.
