Overview
As a Cardiologist DM DNB consultant at our facility in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized medical care to patients with heart and cardiovascular conditions. You will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of cardiac diseases, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting thorough patient consultations and medical examinations to diagnose heart conditions
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
Developing personalized treatment plans for patients, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, or surgical interventions
Performing interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and cardiac catheterization
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and specialists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Participating in clinical research and staying abreast of advancements in the field of cardiology
Providing education and counseling to patients and their families on heart disease prevention and management
Adhering to all relevant regulations and standards of practice in cardiology
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (DM) or Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Cardiology
Valid medical license to practice as a Cardiologist in Tamil Nadu
Proven experience as a Cardiologist in a clinical setting
Expertise in interpreting cardiac diagnostic tests and imaging studies
Proficiency in performing interventional cardiology procedures
Strong understanding of evidence-based practice in cardiology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in the field
