Co-founder; Knitwear Designer

Position: Co-founder (Knitwear Designer)
Location: Prakāshamnagar

Buzzzest is a fashion brand that provides made-to-measure clothing and personalized styling recommendation.

You'll be joining us as one of the  Co-founder . Your job will be to manage the clothing operations from scratch, create the strategy and manage the division alongside the co-founder and you'll be responsible for the entire design process, from translating concepts into technical sketches to creating impeccably crafted patterns.

Your Role
Develop new and exciting fashion collections that align with brand aesthetics and market trends.
Translate design concepts and sketches into technical flats and specifications.
Develop and grade patterns for various garment sizes, ensuring accuracy and fit.
Source and select high-quality materials based on design needs and functionality.
Oversee sample production, conducting fit sessions and making adjustments to patterns as needed.
Maintain a strong understanding of current fashion trends and garment construction techniques.
Build the personal fashion styling business alongside the co-founders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Fashion Designer with a focus on  pattern making .
Proven ability to translate design concepts into technical sketches and patterns.
Expertise in pattern making techniques, grading, and fit.
Proficiency in CAD and other relevant fashion design software.
Excellent understanding of garment construction and various fabrics.
A strong portfolio showcasing your design and pattern making skills.
