Role Overview :
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing educational videos, social media content, promotional ads, interviews, testimonials, webinars, and short-form reels/shorts.
The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling ability, creative editing skills, understanding of pacing, transitions, color correction, audio enhancement, and platform-specific video formats.

Key Responsibilities :
Edit long-form educational session recordings, training modules, and webinars into structured, easy-to-follow videos.
Create short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, Tik Tok-style clips) from longer sessions, ensuring strong hooks and retention.
Add subtitles, captions, animations, callouts, overlays, charts, and visual elements to simplify stock market concepts.
Work closely with the social media and content teams to align video output with brand strategy.
Edit promotional ads, student testimonials, and event highlight videos.
Optimize video formats and quality for different platforms (You Tube, Instagram, Facebook, Linked In).
Organize and manage raw footage, project files, templates, and media libraries.
Maintain consistency in brand visual identity, audio quality, and tone.

Required

Skills & Qualifications :
professional video editing experience.
Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
Basic motion graphics/animation skills using After Effects or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video pacing, narrative flow and visual storytelling.
Ability to add clean, clear subtitles and visual highlights for educational clarity.
Creativity and awareness of social media trends, transitions, effects, and music syncing.
Willingness to learn and understand basic stock market terms (training support can be provided).

Nice-to-Have (Preferred) :
Experience working with EdTech, Finance, Stock Market, or Coaching content.
Ability to work on thumbnails and graphic assets (Canva / Photoshop).
Knowledge of You Tube SEO and retention analytics.
