Account & Finance Trainee

Location: Mandideep

Industry & Sector:  Food & Beverage / Agricommodities (rice processing, packaging and distribution) operating in FMCG/export markets. We are hiring an onsite Accounting Intern in India to support daytoday finance operations, learn handson accounting workflows, and contribute to accurate financial reporting for a fastmoving manufacturing and export business.

Position:  Accounting Intern (Onsite, India)

Role & Responsibilities

Support daytoday bookkeeping: post invoices, process purchase and sales vouchers, and maintain ledgers using accounting software.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows—verify vendor invoices, prepare payment runs, and follow up on receivables.
Perform bank reconciliations and routine ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for expense tracking, cashflow monitoring, and basic monthly reports.
Help compile GST returns, maintain tax records, and coordinate with external tax consultants on documentation.
Support monthend closing tasks and provide documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications & Other Requirements

Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
Prior internship or coursework in accounting/finance is a plus; eagerness to learn and work onsite in India required.
Availability for a minimum internship period (typically 3–6 months) and immediate or short notice joiners preferred.
