About the Role  Biryani Bees is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for a  detail-oriented and process-driven Accountant  who can manage day-to-day accounting with the same financial discipline followed by professionally run QSR brands.
This role is critical in ensuring  accurate books, strong cost control, statutory compliance, and investor-ready reporting  as we scale to multiple outlets.

Key Responsibilities  Accounting & Bookkeeping   Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software.
Handle sales, purchase, expense, and bank entries with accuracy.
Perform daily cash, bank, and POS reconciliations.
Maintain outlet-wise and company-level books of accounts.
GST & Statutory Compliance   Prepare and file  GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)  on time.
Ensure proper GST classification for food, delivery, and packaging.
Coordinate with CA for income tax, TDS, and statutory filings.
Maintain compliance documentation and audit-ready records.
Cost Control & Reporting   Track food cost, operating expenses, and vendor payments.
Prepare  monthly P&L, cash flow, and variance reports .
Support management with MIS reports for decision-making.
Identify leakages, excess costs, or control gaps.
Vendor & Payment Management   Manage vendor ledgers and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain proper invoice documentation and approvals.
Coordination & Controls   Coordinate with outlet managers for sales and expense validation.
Support internal and external audits.
Assist in system and process improvements as the company scales.

Desired Candidate Profile   Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com mandatory).
2–5 years of accounting experience (QSR / Retail preferred).
Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and GST portals.
Strong understanding of GST, basic taxation, and reconciliations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
