Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Moradabad. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing general accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheets, reconciling accounts, and handling month-end close processes. The candidate will ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, assist with audits, and generate reports to provide financial insights. Additional responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting financial information to support decision-making and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the accounting team.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and excellent numerical skills
Ability to analyze financial data and present findings clearly
Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required

Experience with tax compliance or auditing is a plus
