EXPATRIATE ACCOUNTING – TAX ANALYST

Work you'll do

As a part of this team you will be involved with:

Preparation of tax payable / receivable entries as and when required.
Facilitating entries in our internal systems like GA and JE Tool and SAP on various tax accounting entries

pertaining to expatriates.

Processing of various payments relating to internal tax and advisory teams after proper review of the

services performed.

Working on general ledger reconciliations and related aspects every period.
Identify, research, analyze & resolve the reconciling items on the accounts reconciled
Prepare and organize supporting documentation for reconciliations.
Corresponding with the DHS & GES team.
Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for India and US Taxation
Organizing and reviewing all ad‐hoc requests received in detail and define an action plan around them
Preparing journal entries (JEs) as per the process requirement in our internal web application – ET Web.
Responsible for monthly and quarterly reports.
Preparing any other ad‐hoc reports as required by the management from time to time.
Being a Business Advisor – Providing accurate and timely information to clients and continuously seeking

to enhance the service provided to them

Maintaining strong and trusting relationship with client

The team

At Deloitte, Financial Services Group which is a part of the larger Finance team maintains and performs book

keeping and internal accounting of the firm through — accounts payable, receivables, payroll & benefit accounting,

Qualifications

Required:

Any Bachelor or Master degree in finance / CA Inter / ICWA Inter / MBA
Willingness to work in a 11 AM to 8 PM shift
2‐5 years of overall experience and relevant work experience any Accounting process in a Multinational

Organizations

Must be proficient in all general accounting aspects
Must be detail‐oriented with the ability to plan and prioritize multiple time‐sensitive projects
Must be a good team player
Must have good written and oral English communications skills, including ability to effectively

communicate with internal personnel at all levels of the firm

Excellent skills required in order to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred:

Knowing MS Access & Visual Basic would be added advantage
SAP, and/or other automated accounting system experience preferred
