Contingent Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Contingent Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Contingent Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the distribution and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: 18.50

Shift: First

• Perform safety checks on forklifts and ensure they are in proper working condition
• Move, locate, and stack merchandise safely around the facility
• Operate stretch-wrappers and manage palletized inventory efficiently
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Read and interpret shipping documents and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including hot, cold, and rainy weather
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
