As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, conducting routine checks and maintaining systems for a large hospital in Independence, OH, to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. The position requires 1-2 years of commercial HVAC experience, strong physical stamina, and a foundational grasp of computers.
This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and involves providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You'll Do- Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
- Fix equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Valid driver's license.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and managing work orders through the CMMS, Teams, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.

The minimum salary for the HVAC Technician position is $25 per hour and the maximum salary is $30 per hour. Compensation offered will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include 401(k), dental, health, vision, and life insurance.
