Service Technician

Overview

At Diversified Air Systems, an MCE Company, we’re growing – and we’re hiring a Service Technician to help us grow even further!

The Service Technician is responsible for the service and support of all types of air compressors and related compressed air products. Areas of service and support include, but are not limited to, air compressors, compressed air dryers, compressed air accessories, application, troubleshooting, performance evaluation, service maintenance, and proper installation. The Service Technician works directly with customers to provide solutions to a wide array of potentially complicated field issues involving mechanical and electrical failures.

The successful candidate will excel in the ability to interact with customers and provide technical solutions in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.

• Provides on-site technical support and repairs of customer equipment
• Explains system capabilities, operations, features, and benefits to the customer
• Performs preventative maintenance on air compressor products
• Inspects and services air compressors, dryers, and related equipment with a high degree of customer service
• Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, manage unused materials, and clean up debris
• Understands customer needs, answers questions, and recommends corrective actions that exceed customer expectations
• Completes all necessary paperwork, including work orders, service orders, customer contracts, and company forms
• Exhibits professional appearance and conduct and provides customers with excellent customer service
• Ability to build trust quickly; interacts and communicates well with customers and coworkers
• Follows all safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:
  Qualified and experienced mechanical and electrical skills

• Reliable and dependable
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required

The physical requirements for this position are typical for a mobile employee including constant movement within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting 50+ pounds.
