Qualifications & Skills
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required). CPA certification or CPA eligibility is a plus.
  • Experience:

    1-5 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to fund accounting and administration.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books preferred) and financial reporting systems.
  • Key Attributes:
    High integrity, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal communication.
  • Work Style:
    Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment, manage deadlines effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced setting.

This position reports directly to the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.

Key Financial Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations and record journal entries.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities along with assisting in budget preparation.
  • Assist with fund quarter-end closing procedures.
  • Allocate expenses (e.g., legal, insurance, travel) to the appropriate entities.
  • Collaborate with external administrators to ensure accurate and timely reporting of assets under management and performance.
  • Support financial statement audits and coordinate with external tax service providers for timely tax return filings.
