The Treasurer will serve as a key advisor to the Board of Education and Superintendent, providing transparent financial reporting, supporting long‑range forecasting, and ensuring compliance with all Ohio school finance laws and reporting requirements. The role includes guiding budget development, cash management, internal controls, and strategic financial decision‑making.
Desired Qualifications- Valid Ohio School Treasurer license
- Demonstrated experience in school district finance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of Ohio school finance laws, compliance requirements, and internal controls
- Experience working collaboratively with boards of education and superintendents
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to a variety of stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement
