Arena Attendant | Part-Time | Cable Dahmer Arena

The Arena Attendant is part of the team which operates Independence Community Ice on a daily basis. Arena Attendants are the backbone of the Community Ice Staff and is relied upon for Daily rink operations. This position reports to the Manager on Duty.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$19.00.

This position will remain open until April 17, 2026.

Cable Dahmer Arena is a 5,800 seat arena in Independence Missouri. In conjunction with the Arena, OVG also operates Independence Community Ice.

• Perform any duty required to operate the rink.
• Reception-Greeting customers and checking in prepaid pass holders.
• Pro Shop Attendant-Staffing cashier and/or rental desk.
• Process payments and hand out skates.
• Housekeeping-Monitor rink during open hours for cleanliness.
• After closing, clean rink as needed, including vaccuming and sweeping rink and emptying trash recepticles.
• Skate/Ice Monitor-Monitor ice to maintain safety of customers.
• Address issues with individual skaters as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
