As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; maintain flexibility to business needs; maintain in-stock levels; control shrinkage.
• Plan bakery productions; ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs; follow recipe measurement instructions; decorate bakery items with decorative flowers and lettering; maintain food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.
• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others.
• Drive bakery area performance; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; prepare for seasonal events; identify member needs; assist members with purchasing decisions; resolve member issues and concerns.
• Act as a brand advocate by valuing the member’s experience in bakery and modeling high-quality service and products; interact with associates to understand roadblocks and assist in training; develop, influence, and inspire a respectful, supportive, team-oriented style.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; use the Open Door Policy; apply these in business processes.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress; recommend improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change.

The hourly wage range is $17.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

• 6 months’ experience in Fresh Production Area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time period.

• Cake Decorating skills.
