Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Director of Nursing, based at Sunterra Springs in Independence, MO. The Director of Nursing will oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing services provided, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to the patients in our 38 bed, all skilled, 5 star facility. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, implementing effective nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing infection control protocols.

The director will also work closely with interdisciplinary teams to enhance Skilled Nursing services and drive continuous improvement in care delivery.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Nursing Management and the ability to lead and supervise clinical teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in Infection Control practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
  • Experience in Medicine and Nursing with a focus on patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Knowledge and experience in Skilled Nursing, including understanding patient and family needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN);
    Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred.
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Missouri.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Compassionate approach with a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards is highly desirable.
