Summary
The Quality Assurance / Risk Management Nurse oversees quality assurance, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance to promote resident safety and high-quality care. This role supports surveillance, reporting, staff education, and continuous quality improvement.
Location: The Groves
Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities- Monitor infections, antibiotic use, cultures, and specimens
- Ensure proper precautions and infection-control practices
- Review new admissions for accurate diagnoses and immunizations
- Complete required QA, NHSN, lab, and public health reporting
- Track infection trends and prepare QA reports
- Conduct staff education and clinical competencies
- Participate in risk management, fall review, and facility assessments
- Support emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance
- Current RN or LPN license
- Quality assurance, risk management, or infection prevention experience required
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Strong documentation and regulatory knowledge
