- Hire, train, and supervise the Substance Use Community Support Specialists and Prevention Specialists, with ongoing guidance.
- Oversee services delivered through the Youth CSTAR program and Prevention Program, ensuring best practice models are implemented.
- Coordinate and oversee all referrals into the Youth CSTAR program, ensuring admission/continued stay criteria are met per program standards and regulations.
- Complete the clinical assessment and wellness plan, including a complete diagnostic assessment, within the EMR for clients on the assigned team.
- Ensure all services are delivered and documented in a timely and clinically appropriate manner in the EMR per agency policy.
- Collaborate with other youth programs to ensure appropriate services support successful recovery for clients served.
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members, school personnel, and community partners to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
- Provide community outreach and education to other agency departments to ensure referrals to CSTAR and prevention programs.
- Oversee staff performance/productivity standards and provide coaching to resolve areas of concern.
- Participate in the quality improvement process by conducting chart reviews and monitoring required documentation in the EMR.
- Serve as an ambassador of the agency to build partnerships with local school districts and community agencies.
- Participate in ethical/agency/funding standards regarding treatment and documentation, QA/QI procedures, utilization management, and emergency/crisis procedures.
- Oversee data collection and reporting for department-specific grants.
- Follow all agency policies and procedures, including emergency and corporate compliance policies/procedures 100% of the time.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling preferred, with provisional or full licensure with the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the behavioral health field and substance use experience.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
