The role of Sterile Processing Manager is to ensure quality care is followed per policy and procedure in the Central Sterilizing Department. Core responsibilities include:

• Managing all cleansing, sterilization, packaging and quality check processes for instruments.
• Maintaining appropriate decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, processing, packaging and quality checks for cleanliness, rust, or needed repairs.
• Stocking supplies and maintaining PAR levels.
• Overseeing delivery of sterilized equipment to multiple departments (Family Birthing Center, Radiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab, Respiratory Therapy, Emergency Department, etc.).
• Performing quality performance and maintaining logs for biological and chemical monitoring of various sterilizers (steam, ETO, Steris, Sterrad).

Associate Degree preferred.

Certified Sterile Processing Distribution Technician with CBSPD or Certified Central Service Technician with IAHCSMM preferred.

Minimum of three years as a sterile processing technician, with prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Must possess good interpersonal, problem‑solving and team‑building skills.
