Overview
The Family Support Division (FSD) is seeking applications for Benefit Program Technicians. These positions will be located in the Jackson County Customer Service Center based at 14500
E. 42nd Street, Independence, MO.
As our Benefit Program Technician you will help Missouri citizens to receive food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy and productive lives.
Responsibilities- Determine initial and continuing eligibility for services for Missouri citizens.
- Interview clients in person and by telephone.
- Prepare summaries and perform related duties as needed.
- At least 4 years of Customer Service experience or a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Be personable, compassionate and have a non-judgmental attitude.
- Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
- Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
