The two-year Graduate Assistant role pairs a Master of Arts in Religion through Community of Christ Seminary with part-time ministry work supporting the Campus Minister and student life at Graceland University.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and admission to Community of Christ Seminary required.
- Successfully complete the Master of Arts degree in the Community of Christ Seminary
- Offer pastoral care, disciple formation, and relational ministry to students on the Lamoni campus, focusing on Community of Christ students. (5 hours per week)
- Maintain a ministry of presence in the Campus Ministries Student Office as scheduled with the Campus Minister. (5 hours per week)
- Offer a positive witness and testimony of Jesus Christ and the Community of Christ.
- Assist the Campus Minister with InSpire, the Community of Christ Missional Ministry and Leadership Practicum. (2 hours per week)
- Attend, support, and lead Community of Christ worship on campus, including speaking, presiding, and administering the Sacraments (if holding appropriate priesthood). (2 hours per week)
- Attend, support, lead meetings of the Campus Ministries teams, including the Council of House Chaplains and Campus Chaplains (student employees). (2 hours per week)
- Provide ministry to the wider campus community and church when possible; participate in World Church events as coordinated with the Campus Minister. (2 hours per week)

Required TrainingsRegistered Youth Worker/Anti-harassment Training:
New employees are required to be a registered youth worker with Community of Christ or be able to register within 30 days of hire date. Anti-harassment training is also required within 30 days of hire and then required annually.
