As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum. You will work to increase student count, ensuring each student continues to grow, develop, and enjoy playing music while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

• Partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum.
• Assist with customer service as needed, helping to build and maintain long‑term students by creating a great experience.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Partner with all students and families through frequent communication, building trusting relationships, and embracing parents’ knowledge of their child.
• Communicate with students and/or parents about each student’s progress.
• Share students’ and parents’ goals and progress frequently.

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or a related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument in which you are proficient (e.g., drums, guitar, keyboard, etc.).
• Skilled ability to demonstrate competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
