Location: Independence, MO

Schedule: Full Time | Monday through Friday | Office Hours

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is looking for an organized, dependable Administrative Assistant to support our growing team in the Independence office. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys keeping things organized, and takes pride in supporting a team that serves others every day.

Our Administrative Assistants help keep operations running smoothly by supporting office leadership, assisting with documentation, coordinating communication, and ensuring day to day administrative tasks are handled with accuracy and professionalism.

Pay Range

$18 to $20 per hour depending on experience

What You Will Do
  • Provide administrative support to office leadership and department teams
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and assist with general office communication
  • Maintain organized files, reports, and documentation
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining internal systems
  • Support scheduling and coordination needs for the office
  • Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence as needed
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and general office processes
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment
  • Support special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
What We Are Looking For
  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills and comfort learning new systems
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
  • Reliable, dependable, and team focused attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
